Comments:
This one was originally posted to DIME in two parts by "bossman3078" way back in December 2005; I don't believe it's been re-seeded since, so this may fill a gap in some Bruce fans' collections. I don't want to over-sell this one -- it's kind of a difficult view because the source video appears to be a highly generated VHS tape, but given that for many years it was the only pro-shot video circulating from this historic tour, it's kind of notable just for the fact that it circulates. (The Paris show appeared a few years ago and is much better quality, in the spirit of full disclosure.)

Review from Brucedvds.net:
"This pro shot footage from the complete "Born in the USA" show in Philadelphia is one of the most well-known and widely circulated "unofficial" Springsteen videos. The original source was apparently a VHS recording of a stadium sky box feed, but all versions to date have suffered heavily from interference on the image. This new version from the "Watchdog" label claims to be taken from a newly discovered low-generation tape. The picture quality is undoubtedly cleaner than we have ever seen before, but there is still quite a bit of interference present. There is also a noticeable loss in picture detail compared to previous versions. This has led to the suspicion that this might just be the same generation that we have seen before, but cleaned up with digital filtering. Worse still, the sound quality is significantly poorer than earlier releases.

The DVD also includes the previously circulated footage from Charlotte earlier the same year. It is a distant view from a single camera at the back of the arena. The low definition image and good soundboard audio are the same quality as we have seen on other versions. "Live on the Born in the USA Tour" version of the Philadelphia footage definitely looks different and can probably be considered an upgrade, but the feeling you are likely to have after viewing this is disappointment that the quality is not better.

It should be noted that this was released by "Watchdog" as a single pressed DVD9, but has been split across two DVD-Rs to make trading easier. This has resulted in the sub-menu on Disc 2 listing the tracks from the whole set, but obviously only the second half can be selected."
